The Fair Bluff Watermelon Growers Association, Inc. (FBWGAI) is a very unique and special Association.  It is a non-profit organization who is the sponsor for the North Carolina Watermelon Festival.  The Fair Bluff Watermelon Growers Association, Inc. is a well-known organization in the Fair Bluff and surrounding communities.  It has been in existence since the N.C. Watermelon Festival began and has established and implemented numerous community projects along the way.  The Fair Bluff Watermelon Growers Association, Inc. is committed in helping others in the community and each year they sponsor various community projects to assist others in need.  Each year during the North Carolina Watermelon Festival, the Fair Bluff Watermelon Growers Association, Inc. gives a educational scholarship to their Queen, Teen Miss, and Pre-Teen representatives as a thank-you gift for representing the Association and Festival throughout North and South Carolina.  The Fair Bluff Watermelon Growers Association, Inc. also provides savings bonds and other rewards to their representatives for a job well done each year.  The Watermelon Growers Association has been involved in community service projects such as helping those with serious illnesses, raising money for various community projects, and so forth. 

Most importantly, the Fair Bluff Watermelon Growers Association, Inc. is a group of individuals who love the agricultural industry and support the promotion of watermelons especially.  The individuals which make up the organization rank in all different types of occupations and are well thought of individuals.  The Watermelon Growers Association is like a family.  Once an individual becomes a member, they rarely want to leave because the love of watermelons and helping others less fortunate becomes apart of you, a piece of your life and a piece that you love.
